2020 Holiday Schedule
Preservation Massachusetts will be closed, beginning December 23 through the end of the year so that our staff can celebrate the holidays. We thank you for all of your support and encouragement during 2020 and look forward to working with you in the New Year! Our work and services will resume on January 4. From "Saved" to Endangered Again:
Henry Hobson Richardson's home in Brookline is once again facing an extremely uncertain future. In mid-November Preservation Massachusetts was made aware of a demolition application for three properties in Brookline, including 25 Cottage Street where Richardson lived and worked. In 2004, the property was listed to our Massachusetts Most Endangered Historic Resources List, and PM worked with local advocates and preservation partners to find a viable preservation solution for t

2020 was such a different, challenging and unusual year, that we decided to change things up a bit for our annual appeal.
