When Life Gives You Lemons... 5 Ways to Make The Most of Your Time For Preservation Right Now

Though there is a lot going on in the world right now, it doesn’t mean your preservation projects have to come to a stop. Now is a great time to keep them moving along and make the best of what can only be described as "unprecedented" times.. So what can you do from home to move your preservation project forward?

Check out our tips below!

Tip #1: Research your historic property through the Massachusetts Cultural Resource Information System (MACRIS). If your property is individually designated or part of a district, you can view the nomination form which may help you gather some basic information about your resource. To visit MACRIS, click here.

Tip #2: Use Zoom video conference software to connect with your fellow advocates. It is free, easy to use, and may be the perfect way to connect with your team and plan next steps in your preservation effort. To visit Zoom, click here.

Tip #3: Begin the Most Endangered Resource Application! If you feel your historic resource is in grave danger of being lost, consider working on nominating it to our Most Endangered Resource Program. To learn more about our program, click here.
