Preservation Massachusetts is pleased to host its 2025 Fall for Preservation event at Waltham’s historic Lyman Estate, a National Historic Landmark that demonstrates the power of historic preservation and stewardship. Join us Thursday, October 30, as we shine a light on the significance and impact of the properties named to this year’s list of the Most Endangered Historic Resources in Massachusetts.
Since 1993, PM has identified and aided in the preservation of endangered historic resources across the Commonwealth. As our core advocacy and education program, the Most Endangered Historic Resources taps into our statewide visibility to elevate the stories of places, buildings, and structures under threat; increase awareness of their fragility; and work collaboratively with stakeholders and community members toward positive outcomes. This isn’t a quick fix or one-size-fits-all solution. This program spurs the dedicated community effort necessary to raise awareness and build coalitions to advocate for each property’s survival.
This October, join fellow community members, history enthusiasts, and preservationists at this social fundraising event to learn how you can help advocate for these critical properties throughout the year. Let’s raise a glass to preserve these irreplaceable landmarks for generations to come!
